Having introduced Gmail and Dropbox integrations and releasing the iOS mobile app, we continued working on other features that HeySpace users can find useful and we’d like to update you on what we’ve recently added to HeySpace!
First of all, we’re happy to share a very important feature, namely a built-in calendar! As you know, HeySpace can be synchronised with external calendars, for example Google Calendar, and now it also has an internal calendar, which gives a clear overview of the workflow and can be of great help in the process of planning and reviewing the progress of projects.
In every space and private chat conversation you have the option to open an individual Hangouts room and, for instance, have a video conversation with all members of a given space or conversation. It’s a quick way to talk something over or brainstorm on an idea without the need to look for a suitable tool.
We’ve added the possibility to mark a message as unread. Now, if you don’t have time to respond or go into details of an issue at a given moment, you can mark the message as unread and come back to it later, when you find the time. Thanks to this feature, you can be sure you won’t forget about it, as you’ll still see that you have an unread message.
You can export each board to an Excel file, together with all the information about the tasks, such as the title, description, due date, progress and assignees. This feature can be particularly useful if you want to create backup files or simply send the board to someone, for example for the purpose of reporting.
Let us know what you think of the new features and remember to share your ideas and suggestions – we’ll be happy to hear from you!
