To make HeySpace even better suited to your needs and expectations, we’re constantly working on new features and integrations. So far you could integrate HeySpace with TimeCamp for time tracking, with an external calendar of your choice, with Gmail to create tasks with just a few clicks and with Trello, in order to import your boards to HeySpace. Today we’d like to share the good news about our latest integration – Zapier.

Connect HeySpace to hundreds of other apps with Zapier

Zapier lets you connect HeySpace to 1,500+ other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.

Each Zap has one app as the Trigger, where your information comes from and which causes one or more Actions in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically. 

Getting Started with Zapier

Sign up for a free Zapier account, from there you can jump right in. To help you hit the ground running, here are some popular pre-made Zaps.

How do I connect HeySpace to Zapier?

  1. Log in to your Zapier account or create a new account.
  2. Navigate to “Connected Accounts” from the top menu bar.
  3. Now click on “Connect new account” and search for “HeySpace”
  4. Use your credentials to connect your HeySpace account to Zapier.
  5. Once that’s done you can start creating an automation! Use a pre-made Zap or create your own with the Zap Editor. Creating a Zap requires no coding knowledge and you’ll be walked step-by-step through the setup.

How to use Zapier integration with HeySpace

If you use Zapier, you know that the Zaps you create are based on triggers and actions. Our integration allows to use HeySpace to create actions and the next step we’re currently working on is creating triggers. When it comes to actions, there are already plenty of options you can benefit from! You can:

How to integrate popular apps with HeySpace

 

HeySpace + Gmail

You can create a Zap thanks to which certain words or phrases in a subject line will automatically create a new card in your selected space in HeySpace. For instance, set a Zap to create a new task card every time you receive an email with the phrase “new assignment” or “new task” in the subject line. Additionally, you can set the Zap in such a way that information such as the subject line, body, attachments, name and email, labels and many more are automatically added to the task card. Thanks to that, you won’t have to do it manually and you’ll save time!

Automating the task creation can be based on various elements of an email. You can filter your emails using Google search operators.

 

HeySpace + Google Docs

If you use Google Docs, you might be interested in how integrate it with HeySpace through Zapier in order to automate your work. Let’s say you have a spreadsheet with your clients’ orders. One idea which could be useful is that every time a new row is added in the spreadsheet, a message is generated in your space in HeySpace to notify all team members involved in the order. In the message, you can insert particular details of the order, such as the name of the client, the order value, and so on. Thanks to that, everyone in your team will be on the same page and you will be sure they have all the information they need to process the order.

HeySpace + Facebook fanpage

When it comes to your marketing activities, you certainly use social media a lot and so you might want to integrate HeySpace with your fanpages, for example on Facebook. To keep up with what’s going on in your Facebook page, you can create a Zap which will notify your marketing team in a suitable space every time you get a new recommendation on Facebook. Thanks to that, they will be able to react immediately and make sure it’s not overlooked. You can attach the content of the recommendation to the message which will be sent to your marketing team, so that they will have everything they need directly in HeySpace.

HeySpace + Twitter

Apart from Facebook, you can also integrate HeySpace with Twitter. As in the case of Facebook, you could use HeySpace to keep an eye on your Twitter account as well. For example, it would certainly be convenient for your marketing team to receive a message every time someone mentions your Twitter profile. The message can include the content of the Tweet which would make it very easy for them to react.
